Megan is a Cornish Artist working across the mediums of paint and clay. As a painter, she takes her artistic technique into her functional ceramics, creating works of art which are to be used as well as admired.
Megan’s work is influenced by the natural world, often taking inspiration from textures, colours, and personal experiences with places.
Megan completed her degree in Fine Art: Painting at Camberwell College of Arts, UAL, whilst also undertaking a ceramics internship at Vivificante Ceramics Studio, Puglia, Italy.
For the year of 2024, Megan will be artist in residence at The Wilson Gallery, Cheltenham. She aims to explore sourcing her own materials for glazes and clay body additions, as well as pigments for making her own paints, in hope of connecting with her new environment of Gloucestershire.
You can find Megan’s work at:
Morgan’s Gallery, Falmouth, Cornwall (paintings and sculptural work)
Sorrel-Stores, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire (functional ceramics)
The Wilson Art Gallery & Museum, Cheltenham, Gloucestetshire (functional ceramics)
